Last Saturday the newly formed Kino Auroville cell held their kick-off event at Kala Kendra, Bharat Nivas. An enthusiastic audience of 40+ showed their interest in joining the Kino movement, becoming so-called Kinoïtes.
13 ideas for short films to be made in the coming month were presented, one can be curious about how many short films will eventually be screened at the first Kino Auroville screening on Saturday, November 5th from 10 a.m. onwards at Cinema Paradiso.
It is planned to have Kino screenings every first Saturday of the month and to organize a KinoKabaret during the 5th Auroville Film Festival in December 2017.
